Milan: Fashion, Football and Architecture

Milan, which is considered to be the most important city in the northern part of Italy, is situated in Lombardy, the region with the greatest development and population in the country.  This city is comprised in a 1,982 Km² area and is home for 3,839,818 people.  Regarding fashion, Milan downtown is an absolutely famous place due to its amazing shops and firms.  In fact, what are believed to be the oldest shopping mall of the history is located there and is called the Piazza Duomo.  In this sense, Milan is as recognized as a fashion capital as well as Paris, New York, Rome and London.  In addition to fashion, designing is another very well-known activity in Milan.

Furthermore, Milan is so comprehensive that there is always place and time for everything.  Since football is the major sport in Italy, Milan boasts famous stadiums, football teams and players.  Due to the fact that it is the second largest city in this fascinating country, it is very varied in many aspects.  It is the most important industrial and financial zone in Italy.  It is also home for people coming for different places such as North Africa and Asia.  Nevertheless, the 85% of its population is Italian.  Hence, Milan is much more than a beautiful city in Italy.  It is not only a diverse world, but also a place in which your expectations will be always satisfied no matter what your interests and likes are.
