Rome, which is the capital of Italy, is situated on the Tiber River, very close to the Mediterranean Sea.  The seat of the Roman Catholic Church is The Vatican City, which is also the Pope’s home.  Since, in all senses and from every single point of view, Roma is an extremely comprehensive city, it has incredible things to offer, including richness regarding art, views and monuments that, in spite of the fact that time has passed by, remain charming.  Also, Rome is considered to be not only the biggest city of this fascinating country named Italy, but also the largest of the European capital cities since it is comprised in a 1290 Km² area and boasts a population of 2,669,873.
