Silvia Ganora of Italy was Awarded Honorable Mention in IPA Competition
International Photography Awards (IPA) announced the winners of this year's IPA Photographer of the Year awards.
Los Angeles (PRWEB) October 13, 2005 -- At the annual contest held in Los Angeles, Silvia Ganora of Italy was awarded the Honorable mention in Fine Art from a field of 16,648 entries from 32 countries. She received it for her image "Still-life with pomegranates". This work has also been accepted for display at the Algarve International Photo Salon, Portugal. About Silvia Ganora Born in Northern Italy, she is a self-taught photographer and a writer. Her short-stories have appeared in national magazines as well as online. As a photographer, her works have gained international recognition in contests and publications. In fact, “City shadows” was included in the portfolio Impressioni di settembre by Nital, Italian Nikon distributor. A critical essay on her work by Italian critic Roberto Malfatti can be found.
