Italy, officially the Italian Republic or Repubblica Italiana, is a Southern European country comprising of the Po River valley, the Italian Peninsula and the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. It is shaped like a boot and for this reason Italians commonly call it lo Stivale, the boot or, due to its prevalent peninsular geographical nature, la Penisola, the Peninsula. Inhabitants of Italy are referred to as Italians. Their official language is Standard Italian, descendant of Tuscan dialect and a direct descendant of Latin. The word Italy is derived from the Homeric Aeolic word which means bull. San Cataldo is an Italian destination in the Province of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 9 kilometers northeast of Naples. It borders the municipalities such as Casalnuovo di Napoli, Casoria, Cercola, Naples, and Pollena Trocchia. It belongs to the province of Napoli and is 12 kilometers far from Napoli that is the Chief Town of the homonymous province. Culture University is the oldest in San Cataldo and has a good reputation in jurisprudence studies. Its libraries contain a number of ancient documents, among them the famous Carta de Logu, or the Condaghes, are the first legal codes and the first documents written. The dialect spoken is not very similar to the other Sardinian dialects however, but is closer to Italian language, due to long medieval contacts with the maritime republics of Pisa and Genoa. As it is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Italy, it is one of the most visited places amongst the most die-hard travelers the world over.
