Parabiago
Italy, officially the Italian Republic or Repubblica Italiana, is a Southern European country comprising of the Po River valley, the Italian Peninsula and the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. The word Italy is derived from the Homeric Aeolic word which means bull. Italy is subject to highly diverse weather conditions in autumn, winter, and spring. Today, despite regional variations in the form of accents and vowel emphasis, Italian is fully comprehensible to most throughout the country. Parabiago is a town in the province of Milan, Lombardy, Italy. Parabiago is 23 kilometers away from Milano that is the Chief Town of the homonymous province to whom the municipality belongs. Parabiago has a population of 23,694 abitanti and a surface of 14,200 square kilometers with a population density of 166,859 inhabitants per square kilometer. The municipality of Parabiago had a population of 23.099 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 23,694 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 to 2001 a percentual variation of 2,58 percent inhabitants. The territory of the municipality lies between 166 and 189 metres above sea level. The altimetric span is thus of 23 metres. There are 523 industrial firms employing 3.953 people that are the 56,89 percent of the total of the workers. There are 397 service firms employing 987 people that are the 5,71 percent of the total of the workers.
