Monterotondo
Italy, officially the Italian Republic or Repubblica Italiana, is a Southern European country comprising of the Po River valley, the Italian Peninsula and the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. It is shaped like a boot and for this reason Italians commonly call it lo Stivale, the boot or, due to its prevalent peninsular geographical nature, la Penisola, the Peninsula.
Monterotondo is a town and commune in the province of Rome in Central Italy. Antonio Lupi is the Mayor of the City. The City has an area of 40 square kilometers. As of December 31, 2004, the total population of the city is 34095 people. The city is elevated by 165 meters above sea level. The density of the population in the city is 852 per square kilometers. The city coordinates 42 degrees 03 minutes towards the north and 12 degrees 37 minutes towards the east. The postal codes of the city are 00015 and 00016.
