Lissone
Italy, officially the Italian Republic or Repubblica Italiana, is a Southern European country comprising of the Po River valley, the Italian Peninsula and the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. It is shaped like a boot and for this reason Italians commonly call it lo Stivale, the boot or, due to its prevalent peninsular geographical nature, la Penisola, the Peninsula. Lissone is a town in the province of Milan, Lombardy, Italy. Lissone is 18 kilometers far from Milano that is the chief town of the homonymous province to whom the municipality belongs. Lissone has a population of 34450 inhabitants and a surface of 9.3 square kilometers thus showing a population density of 370430 inhabitants per square kilometer. The City rises 191 meters above the sea level. The municipality of Lissone had a population of 32,177 inhabitants accordingly to the results of the national census made in 1991. After the national census made in 2001 the population was 34,450 inhabitants, thus showing during the years 1991 to 2001 a perceptual variation of 706 percent inhabitants. Lissone is also known as the town of best geographical environment and has traced its origins back to prehistoric times. Today, one can also learn about its history, from its earliest times and can also enjoy its natural beauty concealed by the beautiful landscapes.
