Cesano Maderno




Italy, officially the Italian Republic is a Southern European country. It comprises the Po River valley, the Italian Peninsula and the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. It is shaped like a boot and for this reason Italians commonly call it lo Stivale, the boot, or due to its prevalent peninsular geographical nature, la Penisola, the Peninsula. Italy is called, Il Belpaese, Italian for beautiful country by its inhabitants, due to the beauty and variety of its landscapes and for having the world's largest artistic patrimony; the country is home to the greatest number of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Rome is its Capital city and incidentally its largest city as well.

Cesano Maderno is a town in the province of Milan, Lombardy, a region in northern Italy between the Alps and the Po river valley, Italy. The town has over 33000 inhabitants. The town main attraction is The Palazzo Arese Jacini is a jewel of the seventeenth century Lombard architecture, represents the first baroque style testimony in Cesano Maderno. At the south side of the square there is the small church named Beata Vergine del Transito that dates back to the XVII century.
 
The Town has other noteworthy buildings which are, The Torrazzo, a medieval tower that dates back to the 8th century, constituting the remains of the old walls of the Town.The Church of St Stefano located in Arrigoni square also named Chiesa Vecchia, Old Church, with walls painted in fresco of high value. The house, Carcano Cabiate, of the fifteenth century, located in Garibaldi Street, is a two stored house with brick wall. The church, Santa Maria delle Grazie, in the hamlet of Binzago, dates back to 8th century, also named Santuario della Madonna della Frasca, the shrine Lady of fronds.
 
Its Brianza economy is connected with the wood sector and with the chemical and pharmaceutical industry productivity and the art and culture in the territory. The Arese Borromeo Palace promotes a large number of manifestations of the extraordinary inside surfaces painted in fresco and has a flourishing park, over one kilometre length with gardens Italian style.
 
As it is often regarded as among the most beautiful parts of Italy, it is one of the most visited places amongst the most die-hard travelers the world over.
