The word Italy is derived from the Homeric Aeolic word which means bull.
 
Casalnuovo di Napoli is a community in the Province of Naples in the Italian region of Campania. It is situated 13 kilometers from northeast of Naples. The municipality of Casalnuovo di Napoli includes the frazioni, villages and hamlets Casarea, Tavernanova, and Licignano. It borders the municipalities of Acerra, Afragola, Casoria, Pollena Trichina, Pomigliano d'Arco, Sant'Anastasia and Volla.
 
The region is at an elevation of 26 meters from the sea level. As per the survey held on 31 December 2004, it had a population of 50,144 inhabitants and an area of 7.8 squared kilometers. Its population density remains at 6,470 inhabitants per squared kilometer. It follows the time zone of CET, Central European Time and Coordinated Universal Time of plus 1.
