Around per year thousands, when Carmagnola appeared before the time in documents toponimo, the city still re-entered under the jurisdiction of the Arduinici that they governed marks it Turinese. From the fragmentation of this in territorial organisms more small, consequent to the dead women of the last arduinica Adelaide in 1091, the jurisdictional powers on the carmagnolese territory are shared between the marquises of Romagnano and the marquises of the Immense one. From 1200 until the half of the Carmagnola 1500's, it remained subjected to the dominion of the marquises of Saluzzo. Carmagnola remained at the mercy of invading and plunders. At first the lanzichenecchi of Carl V, to the time of the first terrible pestilenza of 1522, then French, Spanish and imperial troops were alternated in the occupation of the city.
Presently, Carmagnola experiences a sharp social, economic and population growth derivative of the strategic position of the locality and the high level of well-being and quality of life that is enjoyed with respect to other places of Italy.
