Bra
Italy, officially the Italian Republic or Repubblica Italiana, is a Southern European country comprising of the Po River valley, the Italian Peninsula and the two largest islands in the Mediterranean Sea, Sicily and Sardinia. It is shaped like a boot and for this reason Italians commonly call it lo Stivale, the boot or, due to its prevalent peninsular geographical nature, la Penisola, the Peninsula.
Bra is a town and comune of Cuneo province situated in the Italian region of Piemonte, at an elevation of 290 meters above sea-level, with 28,300 inhabitants according to the 2003 census. Cuneo is a province in the southwest of the Piedmont region of Italy. To the west it borders on the French region. To the north it borders on the province of Turin. To the east it precincts on the province of Asti. To the south it borders on the Ligurian provinces of Imperia and Savona. Its capital is the city of Cuneo. Of the 250 communes in the province, the third largest by population is Bra with 28,890 people.
A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Bra is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
